Young Chicago Authors received a special visit from T&L members on Saturday, September 20th during their Creative Writing class. Like El Nino descending, DB Schroeder, Chris Arnold, Kimberly Logan, and intern Hannah Kushnick took over the class to teach the students about writing for performance. Most of the students had been in the writing program previous years and had written essays, poetry, and short stories. After a story-telling activity, the students were asked to do something new-write a monologue!
